The Cogito Circle was created in the summer of 2023 as an internet-based monthly reading group for young people. After realizing how little philosophy is taught, particularly in the grand scope of America's public schools, its original members realized how imperative it was to give all learners access to the wonderful world of philosophy.

Aiming to revitalize philosophy in a way that is not confined to the ivory towers of academia, and is instead made easily accessible to everyone, members meet monthly to discuss selected texts in a relaxed and informal manner.

Because philosophy is for everyone, and what better way to learn about it than through conversation!
